All Aboard the "Great Pumpkin Patch Express," Charlie Brown!
October 03, 2016
Looking for an unforgettable family experience? This October, change up the routine and hop on the “Great Pumpkin Patch Express” offered by the Mt. Rainer Railroad and Logging Museum. The little ones will be dazzled when they meet Snoopy and Charlie Brown, and they’ll love taking the train to a pumpkin patch where they can select and take home a pumpkin of their very own.
There are Peanuts-themed games and activities for all, along with a reading of ‘It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown' while the older children and adults relax in comfort and enjoy some breath-taking autumn scenery. The Mt. Rainer Railroad and Logging Museum is a member of the American Heritage Railways family, and is an ideal place to stop on the way to or from The Marcus Whitman Hotel.
These excursions are available every Saturday and Sunday from October 1-23. Prices vary from $19-$29 for standard or first-class children’s tickets, to $45-$55 for adults. Reservations and $4 pre-paid parking passes are recommended.
