A Fall Furr Ball and the Dia de los Muertos Festival

October 02, 2017

A sparkling wine entrance and a buffet dinner with complimentary wine from the Waterbrook Winery will set the tone for the fun to follow at the Fall Furr Ball 2017. Held at the Walla Walla Fairgrounds Pavilion on Saturday, October 21, the ball will also feature gaming and live and silent auctions with proceeds benefitting the Blue Mountain Humane Society. Of course, it wouldn’t be a ball without the dancing, so the Dancehall Days Band will keep the party going so everyone can dance until midnight. The festivities begin at 6:00 p.m., and more information and tickets are available by calling (509) 529-5188, or click here.

After the ball, head to downtown Walla Walla for the fifth annual Dia de los Muertos Festival. The festival runs from Friday, October 21 – Saturday, October 22, with an official kickoff procession on Friday at 4:30 p.m. Everyone is invited to the procession, which will end at the Downtown Farmers Market with a free concert at 6:00 p.m. On Sunday, October 22, a “Steamroller Print Project” will take place from 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Additional activities include face painting, Mariachi music, food vendors, and more. Admission to the festival and all related activities are free!
