Garden Tour Benefits Hospice Patients

September 05, 2017

This month, residents of Walla Walla and visitors to the city will have the opportunity to attend a once-yearly event – the Walla Walla Community Hospice Annual Pond and Garden Tour. 10 unique and creative area gardens that are not usually available to the public will open for self-guided tours on Saturday, September 9th from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Entertainment will include artists at selected gardens and live musical performances. Also, regional vendors will be selling gifts and garden-themed items, and a variety of food selections will be available throughout the tour. All proceeds from the Pond & Garden Tour will be used toward providing quality hospice care in Walla Walla, Columbia, and Northeast Umatilla Counties.

Tickets are $25 per person, which includes entrance to all 10 gardens, entertainment, and access to vendors. Tickets are available from Bright’s Candies and Gifts, the Walla Walla Community Hospice office, or by calling (509) 525-5561. If tickets are purchased by phone, there will be a charge of $2.00 per order for shipping and handling. You can also get tickets online by clicking here. More details about the Pond and Garden Tour are available on the web here or here.
