This November, kick off the holiday season with two fabulous and family-friendly post-Thanksgiving shows at the Gesa. On November 27th at 7:00 p.m., the "Sweet Sounds of Christmas" will be performed by the Walla Walla Choral Society. Conducted by Gary Hemenway, the Choral Society’s new Artistic Director, the concert will feature such diverse selections of holiday music as "Feliz Navidad,” "African Noel,” and "A Holiday Suite" by local composer Perry Jones. Other favorites will be performed, including, "I Wish You Christmas" by John Rutter. The Sharpstein Elementary School Choir will join the Choral Society on stage, and will be directed by Lori Parnicky.
