Walla Walla is full of good cheer this time of year – and things to do. Check out some of the holiday-inspired events this month:


NW Bach Fest at Foundry Vineyards,  December 4 – Northwest BachFest presents Winter Classics with Artistic Director and renowned cellist Zuill Bailey and his friends Ben Breen, violin; Martin Sher, viola; Awadagin Pratt, piano. A beautiful program featuring Schumann Piano Quartet and Brahms Piano Quartet in C minor.

’Tis the Season Concert, December 15 – Gary Hemenway, Mark Brown, and friends come together at Gesa Power House Theatre for a fun evening of holiday music.


Christmas Open House at Frazier Farmstead Museum, December 8 – Dayton’s historic Frazier farmstead is decorated with snow globes and Santas for this year’s open house. Enjoy the decorations with refreshments and shop the museum gift store.

Blue Mountain Lavender Farm Open House, December 9 & 16 - The Farm Boutique offers a wide selection of lavender gift items, perfect for ticking items off your Christmas shopping list. Offerings include sachets, the farm's culinary lavender line, dried bouquets and wreaths, bath and body products, and essential oil of lavender imported from France.


The Nutcracker, December 8 – The Eugene Ballet Company performs Tchaikovsky’s beloved favorite, The Nutcracker with the Walla Walla Symphony at Cordiner Hall on Whitman College campus.

The Nutcracker, December 15 – If you missed the live performance on the 8th catch Gesa Power House Theatre’s screening of the current Royal Ballet’s production of this holiday classic.


Ugly Christmas Sweaters & Wine, December 9 – Wear your best ugly Christmas sweater to Dunham Cellars during Holiday Barrel Tasting Weekend and receive a free tasting and have your picture taken in front of their giant bottle tree.

Ugly Christmas Sweater Party, December 15  – Truth Teller Winery hosts its first annual ugly sweater party with treats, drinks, friends and an ugly sweater competition.


Join the Marcus Whitman Hotel for our own annual Denim and Pearls New Year’s Eve Party. Enjoy dancing, live music, photo booth, drinks, hors d’oeuvres, raffle drawing and, of course, a complimentary champagne toast to ring in 2019. Western attire encouraged.
